Japanese Drummers

Second graders topped off their Japan unit (after performing a musical play, creating Japanese gardens, writing haikus, making cherry blossom tree art, building sand maps, creating Kabuki people in art class, creating language drawings,  & lots of other activities) with a performance by a Japanese drumming troupe, Austin Taiko, & even got to try the drums themselves.
