Highland Park Elementary School's Fourth Grade Presents:

The Vanishing Rainforest

It is no secret that our rainforests are quickly becoming an endangered species in and of themselves. It is our commitment to do whatever possible to educate those around us to the extreme importance of the forests and how vulnerable they are to the destructive forces of man. Please take a look at what we have included in our research project. If you have anything you feel should be include on our pages, please drop us a line.

In conjunction with our tropical rain forest project, Dale Beasley's sixth grade class of St. Philomena School in Des Moines, Washington, has completed a project entitled, "Rainforests of the Pacific Northwest", examining a different type of rainforest right in our own country.
