Sweet Clara and the Freedom Quilt

Hi, my name is Kyle and I want to tell you about Sweet Clara and the Freedom Quilt. It's about a young slavegirl named Clara, who is separated from her mother by slavery and is taken care of by Aunt Rachel, who isn't her real aunt. One day she hears about the Undergound Railroad, so she went around asking about it. The next day and for a long time after that, she sewed a map on the quilt that was the map to freedom. I'm not going to tell you the rest and spoil it for you.

I liked it because it has a happy ending. I also liked it because it was written like you were the slavegirl's friends. I like the way they did the illustrations, too. I would like it if you hopped in your car and went to your local library , and check this book out.
