The Best School Year Ever is about a girl who is having a struggle with a family called the Herdmans. Throughout the book she is having many adventures because of the Herdmans. This book is filled with comedy, silliness, and different feelings. I would recommend this book to people who like different things. This book is like many series of events that seem like they never end. This book explains many happenings between the Herdmans and the girl. The problems between the Herdmans and the girl begin when her friend loses her brother in a store, one of the best parts of the book. I believe that this book is one of the best!

The reason I think this book is great is because it is funny, describes the happenings well, and tells about the weird Herdmans. If you have ever read The Best Christmas Pageant Ever or My Brother Louis Measures Worms, then you may have a taste on what this book is about.
