There once was a snake named Jimmy. He didn’t know how to slither. He felt bad about himself. Jimmy said, “Mom, Dad, I can’t slither.”

He tried and tried to get to his mom and dad, but he couldn’t slither. They worried about him because he couldn’t get home. They looked and looked for him. “I think he might be outside,” said Dad. “Let’s go look,” said Mom.

They finally found him and wanted to take him to the doctor. Jimmy said, “I want to go to the doctor. Maybe he can help me.” The doctor said, ”I found the problem. He has a broken bone. Bring him back here to the operating room and I’ll fix it now.” Jimmy was so happy because he could slither!
