Highland Park has begun a digital artwork program within our regular art program. We have purchased 3 electronic graphics tablet systems, which each utilize a painting stylus (a pen-like tool) & an electronic drawing tablet instead of a mouse. The tablets can be used with all paint & graphic illustration programs. The idea is to begin preparing students for a livelihood in a graphics-intensive computer, internet, media, or advertising-based career.
With the assistance of Callie, our UT education student-in-training, working with our art teacher & technology specialist, students are being trained to use this tool. Check out some of their digital artwork - more coming soon!
