Scientific
Method
Mrs. Matetich's 5th graders studied & used the scientific method as a process to determine the number of M & M's randomly poured into plastic baggies. They set out by predicting the number of each color represented in their bag, & then counting to determine the true, actual number found in the bag, & comparing the two sets of data. They charted their data into tables & created a graphic representation of their data tables, along with a summary of the process & results. Check out some of their results below!
