To practice the scientific method we did a number of experiments with M&M’s. First, we estimated the number of M&M’s that were in our bag, then we estimated how many of each color. Next, we counted how many were actually in the bag. The spreedsheet and graph show the comparison between the predicted number and the actual number of colors and numbers of M&M’s. Some of my predictions were close, like red, orange and brown. The other preditions were really far off those were, green, blue and yellow.
