A horn of plenty was when a fairy goat named Amaltheia spills ambrosia and nectar, which are the food & drink of the gods, from it’s horns.

The horn of plenty can never be emptied; that’s why it is called the horn of plenty

It was important because it provided nourishment for the gods, like Zues, & made them grow rapidly.
