As part of their Greek study unit each year involving all subject & curriculum areas, 5th graders build models depicting elements of Greek culture, mythology, architecture, etc. Groups of two students photographed these models with a digital still camera 360 degrees around the rotating object at 20-degree intervals,

& then "stitched" the photos together to make one 3-D, virtual reality image for each model that you can manipulate with your mouse & see from all sides & angles! This project was done using Apple Computer's Quicktime Virtual Reality (VR) Authoring Studio software.
