On October 8, Ms. Hunt's & Mr. Etie's 3rd grade students were able to participate in a live online interview with Ann M. Martin, author of the widely acclaimed Baby-Sitters Club children's book series.

Think about your favorite television series. Sometimes, when one episode ends, do you wish you could speed up time to find out what's going to happen next? The same can be true for readers of a book series.

Just ask Ann M. Martin. She's the author of the 15-year run of the hugely popular Baby-Sitters Club series, California Diaries, and Baby-Sitters Little Sister, plus the spin-off series The Kids in Ms. Colman's Class. Sounds like a lot of characters to keep track of, doesn't it?

And yet, Martin keeps writing new books! In fact, one of her main reasons for writing her two newest books, Belle Teal and A Corner of the Universe, was her desire to create new characters and delve deeply into their personalities.
