In 1933, a big hog named Big Bill weighed 2,000 pounds. Pigs eat corn, milk, grain, vegetables, fruits, trash, boiled potatoes, hay and pumpkins. A long time ago all the hogs in the world were wild. A hog is the same as a pig.

There are only about 1,000 pigs left in the wild. A piglet is a baby. Female is a sow. A male is a boar. The peccaries look like a pig, but it’s not part of the family. In 1933, a pig named Big Bill weighed 2,552 pounds. Did you know pigs have hoofs? Pigs eat trash.If the baby needs milk, the mother has to lay down and sometimes she crushes the baby.

Did you know a female rabbit is called a doe? A male rabbit is called a buck. A baby rabbit is called a kit. Rabbits eat hay, herbs, leafy plants, clover, lettuce, and drink water. Newborn rabbits cannot see or hear. At about two weeks, the rabbits can see and hear. Rabbit farms are called rabbitries. The biggest domestic rabbit almost weighed twenty pounds! Most domestic rabbits live to be seven or eight years old. Female rabbits are nicer to each other than male. You can keep two female rabbits in a cage together, but if you put two male rabbits together they will just fight.
