Border Collies

Border collies are sisters to Scotties. Border collies can be brown, black and white. Border collies make sure no bad animals come near the farm house . Border collies need exercise, food, and a lot of water. Border collies are cute . They need to run fast to guard the house.



Cows

A boy is called a bull. A girl is called a cow. A baby is called a calf. A cow can make milk. People use cows’ milk to make butter, cheese, and ice cream. Cows can make 50-100 glasses of milk a day. A cow can eat grass, hay and vegetables. Cows are herbivores. They eat plants.

Cattle have four stomachs. Seventeen thousand years ago, people painted cattle a lot. Dairy cows or cattle could survive in the snow and sun. After their food goes through one stomach, it comes back up and they chew it again. They are important for meat. Cattle eat these foods: milk, grass, hay and veggies.The boy is a bull steer. The girl is a cow. The baby is a calf. We use cow milk to make butter, cheese, and ice cream. Most beef cattle graze on large areas of open grass. Cows can produce 50 to 100 glasses of milk per day. Cows are herbivores. They`re designed to eat plant materials.




Ducks

A duck is a bird with waterpoof feathers and webbed feet. Diving ducks have long, narrow bills. Dabbling ducks have short, broad bills for prying. Males are drakes. Females are ducks. Babies are ducklings.
