If..., a book by the California artist, Sarah Perry, introduces children to an imaginative look at our world. Picture whales flying through the expanse of space, or fish hanging from branches as leaves. Every page of this book presents a new and creative possibility.
This book has been a favorite of my class and has inspired some imaginative thinking from my second graders. Now, with the permission of Sarah Perry, the J. Paul Getty Museum, and the Children's Library Press, we would like to share some of her work along with the work of my students. We would also like to invite other children to share their creations with us. For more information, please drop us a line. And keep checking back. This site will continue to grow.
