A Poem by Katelyn H.

If we meet a poolgar
what shall we do?
Two things you may wish to do.

Say very very politely,
to the poolgar,
"Good afternoon.
Did you have a nice nap?"

Or if you please,
say very sarcastically,
"Would you like to dinner with me?
We're having twenty pounds of meat loaf,
and two cartons of ice-cream for desert?"

If a poolgar knocks on your door,
and asks for a place to sleep,
there are two things to say.

If you are of the polite type,
you might say,
"We have not one inch of free space.
You might do better in Ecuador."

Or if you are a tad more rude,
You might say,
"We only have fifteen acres of backyard.
Will that be enough space?"
